Njaralam Temple

Njeralath Sree Ramaswamy Temple is located at Malikkunnu in Alanallur Grama Panchayat, Mannarkkad Taluk, Palakkad District, Kerala. The temple is renowned for having the largest circular sanctum sanctorum (Vatta Sreekovil) in Palakkad District.

According to local tradition, the temple was consecrated by Nala, and the place, originally known as Nalapuram, later came to be known as Njeralam.

The presiding deity is Lord Rama in his Pattabhishekam (Coronation) form. It is believed that a visit to this temple is equivalent to the sacred Nalambala Darshanam, as Lord Rama is worshipped here along with Lakshmana, Bharata, and Shatrughna during the coronation scene.

The temple is administered by a Trustee Board under the Malabar Devaswom Board. A renovation committee led by devotees also extends its support to the temple's activities and development.
